My Custom Seal Life Chiller

Well My other chilling system did not work for what I have running.  It would only pump about 12 gallons per an hour.  it would maintain the tank at a constant 82 degrees, but the unit would run all the time (not very nice on the electric bill, and it produced a lot of heat!)

So I bought a 1/3 HP custom seal life in-line chiller. Here it is in the other room behind the wall of the show tank.  You also can see my UPS, with the GFCI that I installed.  I have not set this guy back up, but it gives me at least 1 hour of backup electricity. Any how back to the chiller.  It came with it's on controller, but I already have the Aqua Controller II.  I still do not have complete faith in X-10 technology.  Sometimes when there is a good lighting storm, I have devices mysteriously turning on and off.  The aqua controller is smart enough to turn the modules back off if they come on, but if my chiller was to accidentally automatically turn on, I  could have a nice  pop sickle when I wake up, or get home.  So I used the controller that came with the unit, and set it to 78.0 degrees, that way the aqua controller is then set to turn off at 79.5, and come on at 80.2 then the temperature unit would never interfere, unless if the X-10 turns it self on automatically. It would only cool the tank to 78 degrees before the temp control would shut the power off to the X-10 unit.  Got it??? It's a safety net!

Ever since I bought the chiller, everything seems to be consistent, the PH, The ORP, and of coarse the temp!! Below is proof on how everything stabilized once I put the chiller  in.  Look at the difference!!!!
