Sump,

or better known as

 My water treatment plant.. :)

New sump layout

I will finish the text in a few hours...

This is my Amricale Sump.  I have modified it to accompanied my new config As you can see the smiley face, this is where I have plumbed the ETS 500 air breather.
On the left is the intake for the SS 800 return pump, And in the top left is the return from the ETS skimmer

A look from above, top left: the return for the skimmer, and bottom left the Intake for the SS 800 return.  Also my Kent Marine float vale, and sponge separator for sump.

This is my Amirical Wet/Dry sump.  With the new configuration I barely have an inch on each side of the sump, and pumps.  It dose allow for better water cooling, and circulation. I still have a little of the BIO media left, but I really do not need to have  it due to the adequate live rock, and sand.  I redesigned how my system works, and have added more 2 1/4 bulk heads for the pumps, and returns.  I have also added a Kent Marine float valve that I have hooked up to the RO system (I do drip Kalkwasser to maintain proper calcium, and PH).  On the bottom left picture you can see my PH (blue), and ORP (red) probes that monitor the PH, and ORP levels via the Aqua controller.  I had the temperature sensor in the sump, but moved it into the actual tank for more accurate readings.  I put the AIR breather for the ETS 500 into the yellow Smiley face canister.  I figured if for sum reason it would spit debris, and liquid, I would have a safe place to catch it in along with any overflow.

Listed below is how my old sump looked before the revision:

Wow! Crowded, and stop laughing at the cute little protein skimmer.  It was my first... MISTAKE that is!
